FunQuest Vacation Rentals Corp (“FunQuest,” “we,” “us”) operates funquestvr.com. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Booking information. When you book a stay or start a booking, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, phone number, trip dates, guest count, and the property you selected. This information is processed in Guesty, the property-management platform we use to run reservations.
Payment information. Card details are entered into a secure payment form provided by Guesty’s payment processor and are sent directly to them. Your full card number is never stored on our servers.
Questions and inquiries. When you send a question through a property page or our contact form, we receive the details you provide (name, contact information, dates, and your message) by email and in our reservation system so we can reply.
Saved rentals. The “heart” feature stores your saved list in your own browser only. It never leaves your device, and we cannot see it.
Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, pages requested, timestamps) for security and reliability. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate (pages viewed, general location, device type); Google’s handling of this data is described in Google’s own privacy policy. We do not run advertising trackers on this site.
How we use information
We use the information above to process and manage reservations, communicate with you before and during your stay, respond to questions, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal obligations such as collecting applicable lodging taxes.
Sharing
We share booking information with the service providers needed to deliver your stay: Guesty (reservation management and payment processing), our email provider for correspondence, and the property’s owner or on-site staff where necessary. We do not sell your personal information.
Property pages may embed maps from Google; loading them is subject to Google’s own privacy policy.
Retention
Reservation records are kept as long as needed for tax, accounting, and legal purposes. Correspondence is kept as long as it is useful for serving you.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing funquestvr@gmail.com or calling 850-708-1681. Deleting reservation records may be limited by legal record-keeping requirements.
Children
This site is intended for adults booking accommodations. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date above.
